The STEM Damsel Empowerment Network is a not-for-profit organization aimedat empoweringyoungNigerian and African girls for maximized living through STEM Education.

At The STEM Damsel Empowerment Network, we are dedicated to a vision of a world where gender equality is a reality, poverty is eradicated, and economic empowerment knows no bounds.We recognize that one of the most powerful avenues to achieve this vision is through the engagement and empowerment of girls and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

So much has been said about the existing wide gender gap in STEM but not many initiatives have been designed to make STEM attractive to young girls and this is our HOW as an Organization; our aim is to inspire and invest in young girls , catching them upstream.

Our organization was born from the belief that untapped potential lies within every girl who dreams of pursuing a STEM career, and that by breaking down barriers,dismantlingstereotypes,andcreatingopportunities, we can foster a future where these dreams can be realized.

Our mission is simple yet profound: To address the under-representation of women and girls in STEM fields bychampioningadvocacy,hands-ontraining,mentorship and awareness campaigns aimed at breaking the biases and stereotypes that continue to dampen the interest of girls in STEM.

Since ourinception, we've witnessed the transformation of 800 girls' lives, who are well on their way to breaking the glass ceiling as we equipped them with the skills and confidence to pursue STEM careers and contribute to the betterment of society through STEM.
